Job summary

Barnes Aerospace West Chester division is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support material flow in the plant on 1st shift, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM. The role involves maintaining MRP data, shipping/receiving tooling, documenting inspections, ordering packaging, cycle counting, and coordinating returns with customers and suppliers.

Forklift experience is required and physical endurance is necessary.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of computer experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency with MRP systems and standard office software.
• Ability to build relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Good math skills and disciplined time management.
• Ability to work in a team and adapt to changes.

Responsibilities

• Maintains MRP system with daily delivery information.
• Ships and receives customer gauging/tooling/fixturing.
• Checks and records results on shipping/receiving documents.
• Communicates problems and corrective actions.
• Orders packaging materials.
• Packages finished product and prepares shipping documents.
• Performs cycle counting and coordinates annual inventory.
• Processes returns from customers and suppliers.
• Delivers and picks up parts; forklift experience required.
• Stand for prolonged periods and maintain physicality.
