Job summary

BARNES Aerospace West Chester is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support material flow in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. The role is 1st shift, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with responsibilities spanning shipment, receipt, data entry, and inventory control.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of manufacturing computer experience, including MRP systems and MS Office tools, plus forklift experience.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of computer experience in a manufacturing setting including MRP systems and MS Word/Excel/Outlook/Teams and Adobe Acrobat.
• Strong math skills and solid computer skills.
• Ability to plan, organize, and manage time effectively.
• Professional communication with customers, suppliers, and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain MRP system with daily delivery information.
• Ship and receive customer gauging, tooling, and fixturing.
• Verify and record data on planning, shipping, and receiving documents.
• Communicate issues and corrective actions to relevant personnel.
• Order packaging materials and prepare shipping documents.
• Perform cycle counts and coordinate annual physical inventory.
• Process material returns from customers and suppliers.
• Deliver and pick up parts from customers and suppliers.
• Operate forklift as needed.
• Remain physically active and able to stand for extended periods.
