Job summary

NMG Aerospace in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Materials/Logistics Clerk to monitor the flow of materials, tooling and paperwork to align with production schedules. You will collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and customers to resolve delays and issue parts to jobs, including cutting material to size when required.

Responsibilities include expediting finished goods, communicating material issues, performing measurements, and supporting Lean initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Able to read a tape measure and convert fractions to decimals.
• Proficient with ERP systems and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Move finished goods to next operation and expedite as needed.
• Communicate material issues affecting delivery dates to the team.
• Analyze problems and provide daily resolution actions.
• Operate forklift and pallet jack as required.
• Read and process job/work instructions.
• Support Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
