Job summary

NMG Aerospace in Tempe, AZ is seeking a detail-oriented Materials Handler to monitor flow of parts, tooling, and paperwork to keep production on schedule. You will confer with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and customers to resolve issues and expedite rush orders, issuing parts to jobs and cutting material as required.

Key responsibilities include moving finished goods between work centers, communicating material issues promptly, and supporting Lean initiatives while complying with safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Able to read tape measures and convert fractions to decimals.
• Strong organization and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Proficient with computers (ERP systems, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Move finished goods to the next operation to meet schedules.
• Communicate material issues affecting delivery dates.
• Operate forklift and pallet jack as required.
• Read and process work instructions per job.
• Support Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with deliveries and pickups when needed.
