Job summary

BorgWarner is seeking a dependable Materials Handler to join our plant operations in New York. You will load, unload, move and stage materials, and ensure accurate SAP transactions and labeling for the production lines.

The role requires adherence to safety protocols, forklift/PIT operation, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in physical logistics and ERP systems is preferred, with emphasis on accuracy and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of physical logistics experience preferred.
• Experience with SAP/ERP systems.
• Ability to operate PIT equipment.

Responsibilities

• Safely loads and unloads materials and moves them within the plant.
• Operates forklifts and PIT equipment as required.
• Records transactions in SAP and maintains accurate material data.
• Supports 5S and housekeeping in the Materials area.
• Follows safety policies and FiFo/material flow procedures.
