Akima Global Logistics (AGL) in Anchorage, AK is seeking a Material Expediter to coordinate movement, staging, and prioritization of Army equipment at a contractor-managed site. You will ensure timely workflow between receiving, inspection, warehousing, and transportation while complying with Army regulations and contract requirements.

You will work with Supply Technicians, Warehouse Specialists, Transportation Coordinators, and Quality Control staff to keep equipment flowing through the turn-in

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; logistics coursework preferred but not required.
• Experience: 2–4 years of logistics, supply, or warehousing experience (Army contractor or SSA operations preferred).
• Army regulations: U.S. Army supply/property regulations (AR 710-2, AR 735-5, DA PAM 710-2-1).
• Army systems: GCSS-Army, DPAS, LMP. Basic knowledge of Army condition codes and accountability standards.

Responsabilités

• Expedite movement of vehicles, equipment, and Class IX repair parts from receiving to inspection and warehousing.
• Monitor and prioritize items requiring immediate attention or special handling.
• Ensure equipment is staged properly for inspection, accountability, or outbound shipment.
• Verify turn-in documents match items being processed.
• Track movement status and update logs or Army systems.
• Report discrepancies in documentation or records to supervisors.
• Collaborate with Supply Technicians, Warehouse Specialists, Transportation Coordinators, and QC staff.
• Communicate with Army unit personnel to resolve delays during mass turn-ins.
• Support outbound shipping by staging, packaging, and readiness for loading.
• Assist in reconciling shortages, overages, or mismatches in turn-ins.
