Job summary

Alfa Laval is seeking a Material Handler in Oklahoma to manage inventory, shipping/receiving, and material flow. The role covers loading/unloading, delivering to production, and maintaining accurate records across multiple sites in Tulsa and Broken Arrow.

Responsibilities include daily safety practices, equipment checks, and supporting onboarding. A high school diploma or GED plus 2+ years in Materials is required; forklift/crane experience and CDL are preferred. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, required with relevant experience.
• 2+ years of experience in Materials.
• Basic desk top computer skills required.
• Basic math skills required including the ability to read a tape measure and micrometer.
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
• Forklift operation certification preferred.
• Overhead crane experience preferred.
• Scissor Lift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unpack deliveries, reject damaged items, document shortages, and coordinate with vendors.
• Check item counts, weights, and measurements against documents such as bills of lading, invoices, or POs.
• Ensure MTRs are included when necessary and confirm MTR numbers align with items.
• Safely move materials using a forklift or hand truck between loading areas and storage/work zones.
• Perform daily checks on equipment including forklifts and cranes.
• Troubleshoot discrepancies or problems with received items and escalate when needed.
• Route deliveries to the correct warehouse or departmental locations.
• Keep detailed records of all materials received.
• Operate delivery vehicles with trailers; CDL license preferred.
• Assemble fan and drive kits per order requirements; deliver to production.
