The jobsite located in Mt. Belvieu, TX has an opening for a Material Expeditor.

What You Will Do

Core responsibilities include:

• Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials on the jobsite according to production and shipping schedules.
• Inspect delivered materials for damages.
• Arrange on-site transfer of materials to meet production schedules.
• Maintain the status and location of materials.
• Monitor and control the movement of materials upon arrival.
• Be a team player focused on customer satisfaction.
• Serve as a safety role model for the team.
• Enforce OPD and client safety policies and procedures on-site.

Physical demands include:

• Using arms, legs, climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, crawling, twisting, reaching, and bending regularly.
• Handling, controlling, and feeling objects and tools with hands.

Basic qualifications:

• At least one year of experience with pipe, valves, and fittings in gas plant construction.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with critical deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and motivation.
• Ability to meet physical demands and attend safety meetings.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience as a materials helper.
• Experience in supply chain management and inventory control.
