Job summary

Atterro is hiring a Material Equipment Operator in Cranbury, NJ. The role requires operating Cherry Pickers, Reach Trucks, Electric Pallet Jacks, and Forklifts to support daily warehouse operations. You will pick, stage, load, unload, and transport inventory while using RF scanners to track orders and ensure accuracy.

Preferred candidates have a high school diploma and experience with RF scanners, WMS, and safety standards. OT may be needed in a fast-paced distribution environment.

We are seeking experienced and safety-focused PIT Operators to join our team in Cranbury, NJ. In this role, you will operate powered industrial equipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment while supporting daily material handling, picking, replenishment, and warehouse operations.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic computer skills required for warehouse systems and RF scanner use.

Experience Requirements

• Previous warehouse and material handling experience required.
• Must have hands-on experience operating all four of the following: Cherry Picker, Reach Truck, Electric Pallet Jack, and Forklift.
• Experience with order picking, replenishment, put-away, inventory movement, and shipping/receiving preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and productivity in a fast-paced distribution environment.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety standards, OSHA regulations, and powered industrial truck (PIT) best practices.
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, climb, and move throughout the shift.
• Capable of lifting, carrying, and handling warehouse materials safely.
• Comfortable working at heights while operating a Cherry Picker and other PIT equipment.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
