Job summary

Capitol Materials, Inc. in Marietta, GA is seeking a delivery driver responsible for safely operating a commercial vehicle and delivering building materials to commercial and residential sites with a focus on customer service.

You will perform pre-trip checks, load/unload materials, maintain required records, and communicate professionally with customers and team members while following DOT regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations.
• Ability to prioritize safety and compliance on deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Inspect truck and trailer for defects and ensure safe operation.
• Load building materials onto flatbed/boom trucks and unload at sites.
• Deliver materials to assigned areas with professional customer service.
• Communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing.
• Maintain records required for compliance with regulations.
• Report accidents involving driver or equipment.
• Lift up to 80 lbs for loading/unloading.
• Provide excellent customer service with a professional attitude.
