Job summary

Capitol Materials, Inc. in Macon, GA is seeking a delivery driver to operate a commercial motor vehicle safely, load/unload materials, and deliver to job sites while providing world class customer service.

Requirements include high school diploma or GED, valid CDL, Class B minimum (Class A preferred), clean MVR, knowledge of DOT regulations; ability to lift 80-100 lbs; able to work independently or as part of a team in an outside environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Must have a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
• Minimum Class B License, Class A strongly preferred.
• Must have a clear three (3) year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
• Must have overall knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and on a team; lead or collaborate as needed.
• Ability to self-manage, show initiative, and drive results.

Responsibilities

• Inspect truck/trailer for defects and load/unload materials safely.
• Maintain records for State and Federal regulatory compliance.
• Report accidents and handle lifting of heavy materials (up to 80–100 lbs).
• Provide excellent customer service and professional conduct.
