LG Electronics USA, Inc. in Huntsville, AL is hiring a Material Data Analyst.

Responsibilities

Responsible for supply forecasting, global sourcing, order and inventory, and data management of raw materials needed for factory automation/assembly of commercial air conditioners; analyze program data to prepare material spend plans and work collectively with other functional teams. Oversee the material flow process; establish and maintain supplier release and bidding procedure and supplier banking requirements to ensure an uninterrupted supply of raw materials to meet production requirements. Communicate with international vendors for part order status and ensure delivery dates of materials, clear customs and logistics delivery. Establish and monitor finished goods inventory levels to ensure on‑time compliance with customer release requirements while minimizing carrying and premium freight costs. Review department/plant measurables (customer delivery, supplier delivery, premium freight and inventory) and establish corrective measures for performance adherence. Overall ownership of materials data, ordering, availability, and scheduling inventory levels for production. Ensure systemic accuracy of inventory. Reschedule materials for pull‑ins (expedites) and push‑outs (for inventory control).

Qualifications

Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Library Science or a related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related role in a material data analysis role. Must possess coursework or work experience in organization of information, business information management, data organization, raw materials and supply trends, bidding participation, custom clearance, commercial invoices and certificates of origin.
