Job summary

Timken is seeking a Material Coordinator in Santa Fe Springs, CA to manage shipping, receiving and inventory control. Responsible for loading/unloading trucks, labeling, storing materials, and maintaining ERP-based records. Requires forklift certification, OSHA knowledge, and ability to read orders.

Candidate will work in a dynamic warehouse, using Epicor - Kinetic and Microsoft Office. Flexibility for overtime and weekend work is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years shipping/receiving experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain.
• Ability to read and interpret purchase orders and packing lists.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shipping and receiving activities, including scheduling, staging, loading, and unloading.
• Inspect incoming/outgoing shipments for accuracy and compliance.
• Receive, label, and store materials while maintaining inventory records.
• Prepare shipping documents and bills of lading.
• Ensure safety and OSHA compliance during warehouse operations.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, and other equipment.
• Maintain accurate records using Epicor - Kinetic.
• Maintain crates and packaging for shipment.
