Job summary

The Timken Company is seeking a materials and inventory specialist to support our operations team. You will manage materials, warehouses, and inventory lifecycle, ensuring availability per plan and maintaining reports and records.

Responsibilities include supporting Kanban processes, conducting inventory audits, and collaborating with planning, supply management, and manufacturing engineering to optimize material flow.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher with experience in supply chain, logistics, or manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in related fields.
• APICS CPIM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide materials, warehouse, and inventory management support to the Business Unit.
• Ensure materials availability at locations as needed by operations.
• Support inventory accuracy and audits; lead Kanban and lean initiatives.
