Job summary

John Deere Harvester Works in East Moline, IL seeks a Material Coordinator to manage part availability on the shop floor and coordinate with operations, engineering, and supply management. You will use SAP and related tools to analyze shortages, track inventory, and support CI initiatives on site.

The role requires 1+ year of Excel experience, teamwork in a fast-paced environment, and a background in data analysis and problem solving. SAP familiarity is a plus, with a two-year degree preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience with Microsoft Excel.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask and work within a team in a fast-paced atmosphere.
• Data analysis and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Work critical shortage reports and audit material to ensure part availability, while utilizing SAP and additional tools to support aspects of the material delivery process.
• Communicate and work closely with several functional areas including operations, engineering, supply management, and material flow to root cause and correct material shortages, inventory discrepancies, reporting and consumption issues.
• Coordinate and support engineering changes on the shop floor.
• Actively support the Continuous Improvement (CI) process and shop floor initiatives.
