Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Place purchase orders for required packaging materials.
• Schedule delivery dates of packaging materials to meet plant requirements.
• Monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery and trace undelivered goods.
• Discuss defective or unacceptable goods with staff, users, and vendors and determine corrective action.
• Participate in and support Quality Assurance and Improvement Program.
• Maintain and review records of items purchased, costs, delivery, product performance, and inventories.
• Investigate shortages, damages, or rejections and implement solutions to reduce inventory inaccuracies.
• Analyze inventory data, identify trends, and investigate inconsistencies.
• Learn inventory processes within Parity Factory & Great Plains.
• Collaborate with Warehouse Staff, Planning, Raw Receiving, and Plant Management to maintain organized, safe storage areas.
• Perform data entry into various programs/databases to support timely tracking and reporting of plant KPIs.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Material Coordinator maintains sufficient inventories of raw materials and packaging material to meet production requirements to fully complete customer orders on time.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND RESULTS

• Place purchase orders for required packaging materials.
• Schedule delivery dates of packaging materials to meet plant requirements.
• Monitor shipments to ensure that goods come on time, and in the event of problems trace shipments and follow up undelivered goods.
• Confer with staff, users, and vendors to discuss defective or unacceptable goods or services and determine corrective action.
• Participates in and supports Quality Assurance and Improvement Program.
• Maintain and review computerized or manual records of items purchased, costs, delivery, product performance, and inventories.
• Discrepancy Resolution – investigates shortages, damages, or rejections and implements solutions to reduce inventory inaccuracies.
• Analyze inventory data, identify trends, and investigate inconsistencies.
• Learns and understands the inventory processes taking place within Parity Factory & Great Plains.
• Collaborate with Warehouse Staff, Planning, Raw Receiving, and Plant Management to maintain organized, safe, and efficient storage areas.
• Performs data entry into various programs and/or databases to support accurate and timely tracking and reporting of plant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
