Job summary

Electrolux Group is seeking a Material Coordinator based in Springfield, TN to unload, verify and receive materials, stock them in the right locations, and prepare line changeovers. You will manage shortages, place orders for common parts, and ensure timely delivery of materials to assembly lines.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, ability to lift up to 40 lbs, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Must have a valid state driver’s license. Must be able to speak and read English
  • Must have an attendance points level of +2 or higher.
  • Must not have any final written counseling’s.
  • Must have Steel toe shoes.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, grip, reach and lift up to 40 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Must be a team player and meet deadlines.
  • Must be able to stand for 6 or more hours per day

Responsibilities

  • Duties and responsibilities of a material coordinator include unloading, verifying and receiving incoming materials.
  • Stock material to appropriate warehouse location. Generate material picks. Pull material for assembly line changeovers. Verify changeovers.
  • Determine changeover material shortages and communicate to appropriate personnel. Place orders for common parts.
  • Deliver changeovers, common parts and bulk material to appropriate assembly line in a timely manner to prevent downtime.
  • Return excess material/carriers from assembly line to D-stock, warehouse and press department.
  • Process returned material. Set up assembly lines for next shift production. Order production wool, coordinate delivery trailers for wool product.
  • Deliver wool products to assembly lines to prevent production downtime. Equipment includes stand up motor, cherry picker, gas and propane fork truck, swing reach, electric and standard pallet jack.

You will be based in Springfield TN. The hours are 5am start and end at 5:30 pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Your main tasks:

  • Duties and responsibilities of a material coordinator include but are not limited to the following; unloading, verifying and receiving incoming materials.
  • To stock material to appropriate warehouse location. Generate material picks. Pull material (picks) for assembly line changeovers. Verify assembly line changeovers.
  • Determine changeover material shortages and communicate to appropriate personnel. Place orders for common parts.
  • Deliver changeovers, common parts and bulk material to appropriate assembly line in a timely manner to prevent downtime.
  • Properly return excess material/carriers from assembly line to D-stock, warehouse and press department.
  • Process returned material. Set up assembly lines for “next shift” production. Order production wool, communicate and coordinate delivery trailers for wool product.
