Material Coordinator I

Pay Rate: $19.00/hour on W2, depending on experience

Work Type: Onsite - Houston, TX 77032

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 5:00/6:00 am – 5:00/6:00 pm, with Saturday hours (6:00 am – 10:00 am) as needed. Schedule may vary based on business demands, and overtime is expected.

Duration: 4-month contract with possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors

Job Overview:

Seeking two Material Coordinators to support daily warehouse operations in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have previous manufacturing warehouse experience, be certified to operate forklifts and overhead cranes, and be comfortable performing a variety of warehouse functions, including material handling, inventory transactions, and goods receipt.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for ensuring timely materials goods movements, accurate and appropriate storage and movement of products and inventory accuracy.
  • Responsible for other daily operations functions of the warehouse which includes various clean‑up and housekeeping activities.
  • Job will also require the performance of other duties and activities as directed.
Qualifications:

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Overhead crane certification.
  • Previous manufacturing warehouse experience.
  • Forklift operating experience with a valid forklift certification.
  • Experience with picking, packing, unpacking, goods receipt, inventory transactions, and RF scanners.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and warehouse procedures.

Preferred:

  • Willingness to work overtime and support other warehouse functions as business needs require.
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn new processes quickly.
  • Strong attendance and reliability.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
