Qualifications

• Forklift and crane certification (or ability to obtain)
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in counting and measuring
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Comfort using computers and digital systems to access information and complete documentation
• Ability to safely operate material handling equipment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure production areas are supplied with required materials

• Conduct routine cycle counts and physical inventories for assigned materials
• Accurately document all material movements and shipments to production areas
• Follow daily picking instructions and deliver materials to designated production areas
• Manually place materials in specified locations and return unused materials to stock
• Transfer materials between warehouses and storage locations as needed
• Load and unload materials from trailers and trucks
• Operate tools and equipment essential to the job, including forklifts, cranes, loading docks, data collection equipment, and related devices

We have immediate openings for Materials Coordinator with our client, a manufacturer, at their facility in Evansville (just 20 -25 min from Janesville!)

This is a Direct Hire opportunity with a reputable and growing employer!

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure production areas are supplied with required materials
• Verify incoming material shipments for accuracy and completeness
• Conduct routine cycle counts and physical inventories for assigned materials
• Accurately document all material movements and shipments to production areas
• Follow daily picking instructions and deliver materials to designated production areas
• Manually place materials in specified locations and return unused materials to stock
• Transfer materials between warehouses and storage locations as needed
• Load and unload materials from trailers and trucks
• Operate tools and equipment essential to the job, including but not limited to: Forklifts (sit-down and stand-up), Hand jacks, Cranes and lifting devices, Scales, loading docks, and data collection equipment, Computers, calculators, radios, and copy machines

Schedule:

Monday-Thursday from 5:30 AM-4:00 PM

Monday-Thursday from 4:30 PM-3:00 AM

Overtime required at times on Fridays

Pay:

BOE, $20+/hour
