Job summary

AAR Corp. is seeking a Material Coordinator for 2nd shift to support depot and warehouse operations in San Diego, CA. The role focuses on inventory management, cataloging, and property utilization to ensure compliant, on-hand material for customers.

The position requires basic inventory experience, data entry, and the ability to obtain CAC and security clearance. You will work with I.MOPS/related systems, handle shipments, and ensure documentation accuracy as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Six (6) months of inventory/supply experience is highly desirable.
  • Microsoft Office experience is preferred.
  • Data Entry experience is preferred.
  • Must have the ability to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC) and the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance.

  • Data entry: entering, updating, receiving, shipping and issuing of material.

Description

WORK SCHEDULE:
Sunday through Thursday, 3:00 p.m. -11:00 p.m.

Description:
This position performs limited aspects of technical supply management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging, and property utilization) related to depot, local, or other supply activities.

What you will be responsible for:

Anticipates problems and works to proactively mitigate them.

  • Reports to Site Lead (Quality Manager for advisement)
  • The work generally involves individual case problems or supply actions.
  • Ensures product shipped to/from the site meet all applicable 14 CFR Part 121/145 requirements
  • Inspects the in-bound/out-bound material for damage and proper documentation
  • Packages out-bound shipments by using best commercial practices
  • Inspects OEM or FM Form 8130-3 / certificate of conformance documentation for originality and serial number
  • Manage and control Government property and materials in !MOPS.
  • Package materials for transportation, including HAZMAT materials IAW PWS requirements.
  • Establish initial material control records in !MOPS.
  • Requisition new or refurbished/repair assets through IMOPS.
  • Data entry. Entering, updating, receiving, shipping and issuing of material.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

What you will need to be successful in this role:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Six (6) months of inventory/supply experience is highly desirable

  • Data Entry experience is preferred
  • Must have the ability to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC). In order to obtain a CAC Card, qualified candidates will need to have or the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance.

  • May be required to pick up or drop off parts up to 70lbs from dispatch station.

Compensation and Benefits:

The pay rate for this position is $30.31 hourly. This reflects the base pay for candidates who meet the requirements of the role, including experience, education, and location. AAR offers a competitive benefits package, including medical/dental/vision/life/and AD&D insurance, 401(k) savings plan with employer match, paid vacation / sick time, and holiday pay, as well as opportunities for professional development and growth.
