Job summary

SOLUTION ONE INDUSTRIES is seeking a Material Coordinator at Fort Bliss, TX to manage material flow, inventory accuracy, and production support. The role ensures timely delivery and proper documentation across departments.

You will handle material requests, scheduling, in-plant transfers, and perpetual production records to maintain material visibility and production efficiency. Experience in government/military logistics is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance is required.
• High school diploma and 2 years material coordinator experience.
• Proficient with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Travel up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and expedite flow of material, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules or department supervisors` priorities
• Review production schedules and confer with department supervisors to determine material required
• Requisition material and establish delivery sequences to departments according to job order priorities and anticipated availability of material
• Arrange for in-plant transfer of materials to meet production schedules, and with department supervisors for repair and assembly of material and its transportation to various departments
• Examine material delivered to production departments to verify specified type
• Compile report of quantity and type of material on hand
• Move or transport material from one department to another, using hand or industrial truck
• Compile perpetual production records to locate material in process of production, using manual or computerized systems, and maintain employee records

We are seeking a Material Coordinator for our client located at Fort Bliss, TX.

About the Position

The Material Coordinator position coordinates material flow and production schedules, ensuring timely delivery and accurate documentation across departments. Candidates will manage inventory records, transport materials, and support production efficiency through detailed tracking and reporting.

Additional desired experience and skills

• Knowledge of Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and/or Government logistics and inventory databases.
• Knowledge of supply and warehouse operations; preferably within Government or Military operations
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems such as ISO 9001:2015
• Forklift Experience is a plus
