Job summary

Bionetic in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Material Coordinator to synchronize and expedite the flow of Aviation Support Equipment materials, parts, and assemblies within and between departments to align with production schedules and customer priorities.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of related experience, a high school diploma, strong data entry skills, and the ability to schedule both planned and unplanned workloads while maintaining accurate records.

JOB DESCRIPTION:The Material Coordinator synchronizes and expedites the flow of Aviation Support Equipment (materials, parts, and/or assemblies) within or between departments in accordance with production schedules or customer priorities. This position is also responsible for ASE material transfers within or between departments in order to meet production requirements.BASIC REQUIREMENTS:Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.Minimum two (2) years’ experience in a related environment.Experience with MAXIMO is highly desired.Skill in data entry and utilizing automated systems with emphasis on the need for data accuracy.Proven ability to schedule and monitor both planned and unplanned workloads.Must be able to read, interpret, and apply applicable reference material, such as regulations, manuals, records, orders, etc. to accomplish tasks and resolve problems.Must be eligible for, or have successfully completed a National Agency Check. investigation within the last ten (10) years.Must be a US Citizen.ESSENTIAL DUTIES:Coordinates and expedites the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production schedules or priorities.Reviews production schedules and confers with supervisors to determine the required materials and their location.Requisitions material, establishes delivery sequences, and coordinates transfer of materials according to work order priorities and anticipated availability of materials.Schedules customer equipment; inputs scheduling data into the automated system.Compile report of quantities and types of material on hand.Compiles perpetual production records using manual or computerized system in order to maintain accurate production records.Develops plans and establishes schedules to meet mission requirements.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Occasionally - Climbing and StoopingOften - Kneeling, Reaching, Standing, Sitting, Walking, Pushing, Pulling, Talking, and HearingLifting/Movement Requirements:The ability to lift up to 50 pounds.Using a hand truck or industrial equivalent.
