Amentum seeks a motivated Material Coordinator in Connecticut to analyze APSL levels and recommend stock revisions aligned with mission needs and fleet designs. You will requisition material, set delivery sequences, and arrange in-plant transfers to meet production schedules.
Responsibilities include maintaining records, monitoring inventories, and issuing tools and equipment while ensuring accuracy and timely movement of supplies on the shop floor.
Material Coordinator analyzes the Authorized Project Stockage Levels (APSL) and recommend revision of stockage level in support of Mission, Type, and Design Series (MDS) specific fleets.
This is an hourly, overtime‑eligible position that falls under the Service Contract Act (SCA). In accordance with the Health and Welfare provisions of the SCA, and in addition to your base hourly rate, you may be eligible to receive an additional health and welfare payment for each hour you work to ensure compliance with the minimums set forth by the act. The amount you are entitled to receive will vary depending upon the fringe benefits you select now and in the future.
