Job summary

John Deere in Davenport, IA is seeking a Material Coordinator for the Davenport Works plant. You will manage critical parts for your product line and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure materials are available at the point of use.

The role emphasizes inventory oversight, root-cause analysis of discrepancies, and close collaboration with Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain to help meet factory goals.

Your Responsibilities

As a Material Coordinator for JD Davenport Works located in Davenport, IA, you will:

  • Understand critical parts for your product line - including both purchased and manufactured materials. Communicate cross-functionally to ensure materials are available at point of use.
  • Oversee inventory for your product line, understanding root cause of discrepancies, and work through corrective actions.
  • Work closely with Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to support factory operational goals.

What Makes You Stand Out
  • Previous experience in Supply Management or Material Flow such as planning/scheduling, logistics, material replenishment, etc.
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and off hours as business needs
  • SAP experience
Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, logistics, or engineering or equivalent related work experience
