Job summary

John Deere in Milan, Illinois, is seeking a Supervisor for the 3rd shift to manage production teams and drive operational excellence. You will plan, organize, and prioritize tasks to meet the production schedule while ensuring safety and compliance.

The role requires 1+ year of team leadership, workflow planning, and strong communication. SAP EWM experience and a degree or equivalent experience are preferred. This onsite position offers competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

What Skills You Need

• 1+ years of proven ability to drive operational excellence through effective performance management—both personally and across the team.

Long Description

• Familiarity with CIPP incentive pay systems, including performance tracking and coaching.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP EWM, including warehouse functions such as receiving, putaway, replenishment, and cartonization.
• Proven experience working in a union environment, with knowledge of labor relations and structured performance processes.
• Strong background in CI processes, including leading improvement projects and applying 5S methodology.

Major Purpose

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

• Bachelor’s degree or minimum 1+ year of relevant work experience
