Job Description:
A Material Coordinator is responsible for managing their team of employees to fulfill the workload assigned to their team. The Material Coordinator will schedule, assign, and re-assign employees to various operations within their tour of duty.
The Material Coordinator is also responsible for the safety of their employees while engaged in daily work tasks, as well as administrative duties such as scheduling, corrective actions for non-compliance, time-off requests, and daily attendance.
The Material Coordinator will assist the Primary Material Coordinator in monitoring work floor activity, including receipt and dispatch of mail (dock operation), and overseeing employees engaged in assigned activities. The Material Coordinator will ensure all safety and facility protocols are followed by all personnel within the facility. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
