Job summary

Qualifications

• Fluent in English, written and verbal.
• Ability to work rotating day/night shifts.
• Must be a U.S. citizen; sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Ensure materials and finished goods meet batch records and standards.
• Review production batch records for accuracy and compliance.
• Manage segregation and disposition of nonconforming materials and finished products.
• Execute material transactions in system (consumption, rejection, returns, scrap).
• Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess.
• Perform line-side and warehouse counts; resolve discrepancies.
• Lead reject and return material processes for production lines.
• Analyze losses and variances; identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Participate in daily reviews; collaborate to improve material performance.
• Support production and quality under QMS requirements.

Job description

We are seeking a Material Coordinator to support manufacturing operations by ensuring proper material control, inventory accuracy, and finished product compliance throughout the production process. This role partners closely with Production and Quality teams to maintain efficient material flow, investigate nonconformities, and identify process improvements.

Shift Requirement: This position supports a 24 hr operation and will work rotating shifts weekly between days and nights on a 4-on/3-off, 3-on/4-off pattern.

Hourly pay rate: $28.00 per hour + night shift differential

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods comply with batch record and process standards.
• Review production batch records for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Manage segregation and disposition of nonconforming materials and finished products.
• Execute material transactions in system applications, including consumption, rejection, returns, and scrap.
• Monitor inventory levels to maintain production continuity and prevent shortages or excess inventory.
• Perform line-side and warehouse inventory counts, conduct gap analyses, and resolve discrepancies.
• Lead reject and return material processes for production lines.
• Analyze material losses and inventory variances, identify root causes, and support corrective actions.
• Participate in daily operational reviews and collaborate with teams to improve material performance and inventory control.
• Support production and quality-related departments in accordance with Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing, logistics, or a related environment.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred.
• Strong inventory control, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work rotating day and night shifts.
• Ability to commute to the Aurora/DIA area.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen; this position is not eligible for sponsorship.
