Job summary

Philip Morris International, a leader in smoke-free products, is hiring a Material Coordinator for our Aurora, Colorado plant. The role ensures material flow, batch record adherence, and support for production teams to identify improvements in reception, consumption, and control of materials.

The position operates 4 days on, 3 off, 3 nights on, 4 off weekly, with rotating shifts. You will manage inventory, nonconformities, and material movements essential to continuous manufacturing.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years’ experience in Manufacturing and/or Logistics.
  • Experience in WMS is desired.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is desired.
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

  • Lead Finished Goods, Raw and Pack material adherence to batch record standards.
  • Lead Material inventory process and gap analysis to achieve excellent inventory control results per shift.
  • Participate in the daily direction setting, retrieve material nonconformities information, identify major causes of losses and plan improvements.
  • Execute Material movements in our system to reflect material status (consumed, rejected, to be scrapped).
  • Provide support to production-related departments related to quality performance and assessment of product quality in line with QMS procedures.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to balance excess and shortage affecting production schedules.
  • Perform Shift inventory counts at line and local material warehouse and perform gap analysis for inventory control.
  • Lead the Reject and return material process in our Operation Lines.

Come work with us! We are hiring a Material Coordinator to join our team! As a Material Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring all relevant standards of material usage and Finished product delivery are respected along the manufacturing process and providing support to Production teams to analyze nonconformities and to identify improvement opportunities for material reception, consumption, and control.

Important note: Our Factory in Aurora, Colorado, will operate 24x7, and the role includes Rotating Shifts. This position will follow 4 days on, 3 off, 3 nights on, 4 off changing days to nights on a weekly rotation.

You will perform critical review of executed production batch records, ensure its completion and adherence to standards while manage segregation of all non‑conforming intermediate and finished products.

This role is key for maintaining the flow of materials necessary for production and operational success. Responsible for overseeing the lifecycle of materials in manufacturing production — from line delivery and inventory management to disposal.

Your 'day to day’
  • Lead Finished Goods, Raw and Pack material adherence to batch record standards.

  • Participate the execution of daily direction setting, retrieve material nonconformities information from reporting systems, identifying the major causes of losses and establishing with the team a daily plan to improve performance.
  • Execute Material movements in our system to accurately reflect the material status (e.g. consumed, rejected, to be scrapped).
  • Provide support to production‑relevant departments related to quality performance and assessment of the product quality in line with QMS (Quality Management Systems) procedures.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure a balance between excess and shortage, which could impact production schedules.
  • Perform Shift inventory counts at the line and local material warehouse and perform gap analysis to achieve excellent inventory control.
  • Lead the Reject and return material process in our Operation Lines
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
  • 3-5 years’ experience in Manufacturing and/or Logistics.
  • Experience in WMS is desired.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is desired
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal)
  • ROTATING SHIFTS will work days one week and nights the following week.
  • Must be able to commute to the DIA surrounding area
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen position not eligible for sponsorship.
Hourly Rate

$ 28.00 / hour
