Job summary

Inteplast Group is seeking a Material Control Coordinator C in Phoenix, AZ, to efficiently receive, inspect, store, and distribute materials in alignment with company standards and operational requirements.

The role requires prior manufacturing experience, forklift and scissor lift familiarity, and the ability to work at heights in a fast-paced environment. Starting pay is $17.50 per hour with a 12-hour rotating schedule and weekend work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of material handling, warehouse, or manufacturing experience required.
• Previous experience operating a forklift required.
• Previous experience operating a scissor lift preferred.
• Must be comfortable working at heights and operating elevated equipment.
• Ability to safely lift, move, and transport materials in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Complies with monitors and enforces all written and verbal safety regulations and programs of the plant and department.
• Pass all required training to safely operate forklift and load hogs.
• Understand and adhere to plant policies and procedures.
• Ability to accurately count and record all types of materials - finished goods, raw materials, roll stock and scrap.
• Position requires accurate entries of information via handheld scanners.
• Process work orders, documents number of units handled, interpret verbal instructions to determine tasks, and transmit data for invoicing.
• Stages finished product in proper locations within the warehouse.
• Moves freight, stock, and other materials to and from storage and production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, and containers by hand or by using electric pallet trucks, forklifts, and other equipment.
• Proficient in use of Warehouse Location Management System and can operate scanners efficiently and accurately to perform maintenance move operations to ensure maximum storage locations.
