Job summary

Leidos Defense Systems seeks a Material Control Analyst to join the Platform Integration team in Huntsville, AL. You will manage material receipts, labeling, and inventory control within Costpoint, coordinating with Production Planners and handling subcontract materials.

The role requires lifting up to 45 lbs, standing for extended periods, and willingness to work overtime. US Citizenship and secure clearance eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED with 2-4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in Manufacturing or Inventory handling.
• Ability to lift 35-45 pounds.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work overtime as needed.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain Secret Clearance.

Primary Responsibilities

• Process incoming hardware and raw material for Inventory.

• Create labeling to identify material receipts.

• Perform inventory control tasks within DELTEK Costpoint management system.

• Process incoming and outgoing subcontract materials and assemblies.

• Communicate and coordinate with Production Control Planners.

• Move materials between an Inventory Management Warehouse and Production Floor using a fork-lift or pallet jack.

• Maintain an Inventory Bin System to store materials.

Basic Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED with 2-4 years of relevant experience.

• Experience working in the Manufacturing industry or relevant Inventory experience.

• Candidate must be able to routinely lift objects up to 35-45 pounds.

• Ability to stand for long periods of time.

• Must be able to work overtime as needed.

• Must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance OR meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Inventory Control with knowledge of Hazmat and Shipping/Receiving functions.

• The preferred candidate will have 2 years of applicable working experience working in the Manufacturing industry or relevant Inventory experience.

• Experience using DELTEK Costpoint, Microsoft Windows, and Microsoft office Suite (Word, Excel, and Microsoft outlook).
