Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc in San Jose, CA is seeking an Entry Level Material Planner Buyer for a 12-month contract on W2.

You will procure materials, manage MRP, and coordinate with suppliers to meet production schedules while maintaining target inventory levels. The role requires strong Excel and SAP skills and a collaborative, detail-oriented mindset. This is an on-site position with a 40-hour work week.

Qualifications

• BS in Supply Chain, Finance, or Business Administration or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years purchasing experience.
• Experience in the medical industry is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Timely review of MRP and execution of purchase orders, supplier confirmations, and delivery schedules for materials in assigned commodities to support production.
• Tracks and monitors open purchase orders, supplier confirmations, delivery schedules, and invoices for supplier compliance with quality, quantities, cost, invoices and schedule adherence.
• Generates cost savings through the continuous improvement process and engineering support.
• Reviews and plans material requirements for targeted inventory levels and minimizing EE&O.
• Routinely reviews and dispositions EE&O inventories.
• Negotiates supplier pricing within assigned commodities to drive favorable PPV.
• Complies with all GMP, regulatory and ISO guidelines including company policies and departmental procedures.
• Other duties as required.
