A leading company in the aerospace industry seeks a Material Bonder for 1st Shift. The role involves pressure bonding processes, requiring expertise in metal fitting and bonding work. Candidates must have a minimum of two years of relevant experience and must comply with ITAR regulations.
This role involves working from blueprints, process specifications, drawings, or written instructions to perform all necessary layouts and prepare parts or articles made of similar or dissimilar materials for the pressure bonding process.
Responsibilities include planning operations, assembling, fitting, trimming, and applying bonding agents (liquid or solid). The technician uses various tools, jigs, and fixtures, checks work for proper bonding, assembly, and fitting, and places articles in a pressure furnace. They control heat, pressure, and timing, monitor furnace conditions during bonding, and ensure quality and safety of the process.
This position requires handling information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons as defined by ITAR, including U.S. Citizens, Permanent Residents ('Green Card' holders), Political Asylees, or Refugees.
