Job summary

Trader Joe's in Washington, DC area seeks an enthusiastic Mate (Assistant Store Manager) to lead and develop Crew Members, foster a collaborative and guest-focused environment, and drive daily operations with integrity and energy.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of recent retail, restaurant, or hospitality experience.
• 2+ years of recent experience at the management or supervisory level.
• A high school degree or equivalent.
• A history of developing individuals and teams through empowerment and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Operating the cash register in a fun and efficient manner.
• Bagging groceries with care.
• Stocking shelves and receiving loads.
