Ocha Matcha is opening a new store in Daly City and is hiring a Matcha Barista / Crew Member. You will greet guests, take orders on the POS, and prepare drinks and soft serve according to our recipes. Training is provided and you’ll work with a welcoming team in a fast-paced setting.

The role offers 20+ hours weekly with day, evening, and weekend shifts, plus growth opportunities as more stores open. Prior café or food service experience is a plus but not required.

• Available for paid training Oct 14–17.
• Available at least 20 hours a week, including weekends.
• California Food Handler Card within 30 days of hire (we pay for it).
• Café, boba or food service experience is a plus but not required.

New store opening around Oct 19! Paid training Oct 14–18.

About Ocha Matcha

Ocha Matcha is a fast-growing Bay Area matcha brand. Our first store opens October 19 at Serramonte Center. With second location opening at 1934 Union St in San Francisco early 2027, and we plan to open more stores across the Bay Area.

Our products mainly include matcha beveages, matcha ice cream, and pastries. Our slogan is “Matcha is my language,” and our mission is simple: bring small happiness to everyone around us.

What you’ll do

• Welcome every guest, take orders on the POS and help first-timers find a drink they’ll love
• Make matcha lattes, tea drinks and soft serve by recipe, every time
• Prep ingredients like milk base and toppings according to our prep guides
• Keep your station and the store clean, stocked and food-safe
• Follow opening and closing routines and hand off clearly to the next shift

Schedule

• We’re open mall hours: Mon–Sat 10 am–9 pm, Sun 11 am–7 pm
