Job summary

Wexford Health Sources, Inc. seeks a MOUD/MAT Nurse to provide skilled nursing care and medication-assisted treatment for patients with opioid use disorders in a correctional setting.

You will work closely with an interdisciplinary team to administer MOUD, monitor induction and maintenance, coordinate patient care, and promote recovery-focused outcomes while documenting care and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted LPN license in the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• Minimum of two years of nursing experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Administer and monitor MOUD medications, including observed dosing, injections, and oral formulations.
• Assess and monitor patients throughout induction, stabilization, and maintenance phases.
• Collaborate with providers, behavioral health staff, pharmacies, and treatment team members.
• Respond to sick calls, provide patient education, conduct medication monitoring, and support continuity of care.
• Advocate for patients with a recovery-focused, non-judgmental approach.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with clinical, regulatory, and confidentiality requirements.

Position Summary

As a MOUD/MAT Nurse, you'll provide skilled nursing care and medication-assisted treatment services to patients with opioid use disorders. Working closely with an interdisciplinary treatment team, you will:

• Administer and monitor MOUD medications, including observed dosing, injections, and oral formulations
• Assess and monitor patients throughout the induction, stabilization, and maintenance phases of treatment
• Collaborate with providers, behavioral health staff, pharmacies, and treatment team members to coordinate patient care
• Respond to sick calls, provide patient education, conduct medication monitoring, and support continuity of care
• Serve as a patient advocate while promoting a non-judgmental, recovery-focused approach to treatment
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with clinical, regulatory, and confidentiality requirements
