Job summary

Wellpath seeks a Nurse Practitioner MAT in California on a part-time basis (24 hrs/wk) to deliver comprehensive medical care within site policies, under supervision. You will document patient encounters, assess opioid dependence, and coordinate with the Medical Director to ensure continuous services.

Qualifications include NP licensure in CA, CPR certification, and a DATA 2000 waiver. Prior NP experience and a nurse practitioner degree are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Advanced degree in an approved and accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• 2 years’ experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Must have and maintain current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner within the state of employment.
• Must have and maintain current CPR certification.
• Must have or be willing to obtain DATA 2000 Waiver prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Conducts medical examinations and follows clinic policies and regulations.
• Provides guidance and training to medical staff and documents patient progress in SOAP format.
• Responds to health emergencies per protocols and coordinates with site leadership.
• Performs assessments to diagnose opioid dependence and coexisting disorders; refers for further treatment as needed.
• Prescribes tailored patient care regimens and participates in committees as requested.
