Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to provide direct patient care for individuals in a correctional healthcare setting receiving Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT). You will administer MAT medications, perform clinical assessments, monitor responses, and coordinate with the MAT provider and interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, compliant care delivery.

Qualifications

Active LPN license in the state of employment.
Minimum 1 year of nursing experience; corrections/behavioral health preferred.
Current BLS certification; proficient in MAT protocols and meds handling.

Responsibilities

Administer MAT medications per orders and protocols.
Perform nursing assessments for withdrawal, treatment response, and side effects.
Complete venipuncture and lab specimen prep as directed.
Accurately document care in the electronic health record (EHR).
Collaborate with MAT providers and security to ensure safe, coordinated care.
Educate patients on adherence, safety, and harm-reduction strategies.
Maintain medication inventory and comply with DEA/state regulations.
Participate in quality improvement activities and audits.
