Job summary

PrimeCare Medical, Inc. is seeking dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to work in the Kent County Detention Center in Chestertown, MD. The role involves nursing care under RN supervision, specifically supporting the MAT program and maintaining secure electronic medical records.

Shifts include PT Days, PRN, and 2nd shift full-time MAT coverage Monday through Thursday 9am-1pm. This is a on-site position with opportunities for overtime and shift differentials.

Qualifications

• Maryland Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing.
• Experience or familiarity with correctional health care is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in MAT program.
• Maintain/secure electronic medical records and document per HIPAA guidelines.
• Coordinate care for MAT patients with multidisciplinary team.
• Administer MAT medications per facility procedures and PCM policy.
• Ensure proper flow of information to staff and outside agencies.
• Attend Interdisciplinary Team Meetings and document minutes.
