Job summary

Oklahoma City Comprehensive Treatment Center is seeking a Substance Use Counselor for an outpatient MAT program in Oklahoma City, OK. The role involves delivering individual and group counseling for opioid use disorder and coordinating care with a multidisciplinary team.

The position requires a bachelor's or master's in social/health services and credentials such as CADC, LADC, LPC, LMFT or LCSW; experience with MAT and evidence-based practices is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in social or health services is required.
• Previous addiction recovery or behavioral health experience preferred.
• Familiar with MAT including methadone, buprenorphine, naltrexone.
• Experience conducting individual and group counseling sessions.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality, compassionate guidance in both individual and group counseling sessions.
• Plan, oversee, facilitate and document patient recovery.
• Co-facilitate group or family sessions as needed.
• Ensure documentation about patient care is timely and clear.
• Prepare individualized treatment plans for each patient.
• Conduct initial and follow-up assessments.
• Evaluate patient needs and referrals to other programs when needed.
• May plan for aftercare for assigned patients.
• Provide crisis intervention as needed.
• Perform case management to ensure quality care.
