Key Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and supervise MAT services for patients in assigned facilities, fostering collaboration among medical, nursing, mental health, psychiatry, and security teams.
- Assist in program design and expansion of MAT services, including staffing and program development, in coordination with the Regional Office.
- Provide clinical supervision, professional education, and staff development for on‑site service providers.
- Direct clinical services according to licensure and scope of practice standards.
- Represent the corporation's interests, ensure cooperation with facility administration, and oversee training provided by healthcare staff to other facility personnel.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- Minimum of Independent Licensure with a Master’s Degree in clinical/counseling psychology or social work from an accredited college or university or be a graduate from an Accredited School of Nursing with a current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state in which employed.
- Other substance abuse certification would be desirable though not required.
Experience
- Experience in the coordination and administration of behavioral health or medical service delivery systems as well as knowledge and/or interest in the provision of integrated behavioral health/medical programming within a multidisciplinary framework.
- Professional experience in the behavioral health or medical field that indicates knowledge of management and supervision techniques, peer review, data collection and quality assurance.
- Experience successfully navigating a correctional healthcare setting in which there are multiple stakeholders and needs to consider while maintaining the patient’s needs as the primary focus.
Licenses/Certifications
- Related certification may be applicable based on specific state requirements.
