Job summary

White House Clinics is seeking a Prior Authorization Specialist/Pharmacy Technician for our Richmond Office. The role focuses on processing prior authorizations for medications, especially Medication-Assisted Therapy, while supporting pharmacy operations under pharmacist supervision.

The candidate will work closely with prescribers, patients, and insurers, perform basic dispensing tasks, and help maintain accurate patient records within the pharmacy system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with pharmacy prior authorizations preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

Responsibilities

• Complete and submit prior authorizations for MAT patients.
• Coordinate submission timelines to ensure timely care.
• Collaborate with prescribers, pharmacists, patients, and insurers.
• Assist in dispensing by compounding, counting, or preparing medications under supervision.
• Verify patient information and DOB on prescriptions.
• Maintain and update patient pharmacy records and labels.
