Qualifications

• Clinical Pharmacy Technician certification is required (National Certification or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years' experience in clinical patient care management preferred.
• Specialty medication experience and retail pharmacy background are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prior Authorization Management: Complete new and renewal authorizations, gather documentation, submit payer forms, monitor determinations, request additional information, support appeals, document outcomes.
• Patient-Assistance and Affordability Navigation: Screen for assistance programs, complete applications, obtain signatures and financial documentation, track approvals, and communicate next steps to patients.
• Marshall Health Network Pharmacy Workflow: Act as the operational link between HIMG clinics and Marshall Health Network pharmacies, coordinate routing, and ensure closed-loop communication.
• High-Cost and Specialty Medication Focus: Prioritize high-cost therapies and other medications with affordability or payer requirements.
• Patient Communication: Provide non-clinical status updates and escalate clinical questions to pharmacists as needed.
• Data Tracking and Reporting: Track volumes, approvals, turnaround times, savings, leakage, and generate routine leadership reports.
