Job summary

Kaleidoscope Family Solutions, Inc. seeks Independent Contractors to provide outpatient mental health services to youth and families across Sussex County, in the least restrictive environment possible.

You will assess, plan, and deliver individual, family, and group therapy; coordinate with DPBHS and other agencies; and educate families on resources and treatment options. Flexible scheduling after 3 PM, strong licensure goals, and a supportive referral network are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in psychology, social work, or related field.
• License-eligible or licensed in Delaware (LCSW, LPCMH, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist preferred).
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to pass FBI, Child Abuse, and Criminal Background Checks + Drug Test.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to upholding professional ethics and boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial assessments including diagnosis, clinical disposition, and treatment recommendations.
• Develop collaborative treatment plans with clients and families based on assessments and needs.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy based on clinical needs.
• Offer crisis intervention and planning when necessary.
• Coordinate services with DPBHS and other agencies to support youth and families.
• Educate youth and families about community resources, diagnoses, and treatments.
• Provide culturally sensitive care and maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation.
• Uphold ethics and participate in supervision as required by state regulations.

Services are primarily provided in the home or community, focusing on empowering youth and families to find solutions, strengthen coping skills, and utilize available resources.

Your Role:

• Psychosocial Assessments: Conduct assessments, including diagnosis, clinical disposition, and treatment recommendations.

• Therapy: Provide individual, family, and group therapy based on clinical needs.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
• Confidentiality: Ensure privacy and confidentiality of youth and family health information in line with HIPAA standards.
• Supervision & Ethics: Unlicensed contractors must participate in weekly supervision, as required by state regulations, and adhere to professional ethical standards.

What You Need:
