American Addiction Centers is seeking a Counselor II to provide individual, group, and family counseling. The role involves clinical assessments, treatment planning, and coordination with the UR department to ensure comprehensive patient care.

The position supports outpatient and inpatient adults and requires adherence to HIPAA, ASAM criteria, and facility standards. The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Behavioral Sciences, is license eligible, and is prepared to work weekends and flexible

Competenze

• Master’s Degree in Behavioral Sciences required (social work, counseling or psychology).
• New Masters graduates encouraged to apply; license eligible and/or actively pursue licensure/certification in substance use.

Mansioni

• Provide individual, group and family counseling.
• Conduct clinical assessments for new patients and ongoing required assessments.
• Participate in treatment team meetings and provide service coordination as needed for patients.
