Qualifications

• Basic arithmetic; operate with weights, volumes, and unit measurements.
• Ability to follow written or oral instructions; maintain precision.

Responsibilities

• Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
• Promote and comply with safety policies and procedures.
• Operate various welding processes (GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, plasma, SMAW, etc.).
• Prepare surfaces and lay out parts per drawings and specs.
• Inspect welded joints for defects and measure to spec.
• Set up gas flow and adjust pressures for welding.
• Read blueprints and material specifications to plan operations.
• Travel to different job sites may be required.
