Position: Master WelderLocation: West Cleveland/Airport1st Shift– DIRECT HIRE!!Pay: $30 to $40 per hour + $5,000 Signing BonusPrideStaff is conducting a search for a Master Welder for their Cleveland manufacturing client. The Master Welderis responsible for executing advanced welding tasks on a variety of metals, such as stainless steel, nickel alloy, and more. The role necessitates a comprehensive understanding of diverse welding techniques in various positions, including vertical, horizontal, and overhead.Essential Functions:- Skilled in GMAW, FCAW, and GTAW welding processes.
- Can handle traditional projects and execute most fit-ups per requirements.
- Ensure all welding and fabrication work meets or exceeds ASME and AWS standards.
- Accurately interpret and follow both written and verbal instructions to complete tasks efficiently.
- Take ownership of independently managed projects, particularly those involving non-ASME tasks, while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
- Exhibit a strong commitment to continuous learning and skill development to stay current with industry advancements.
- Demonstrate accountability for punctuality, consistent attendance, and contributing effectively to a collaborative team environment.
- Strong understanding of ASME and AWS standards.
- Ability to work independently and manage projects with minimal supervision.
- Commitment to workplace safety, quality control, and ongoing skill improvement.
Requirements- Minimum of 10 yearsof advanced welding techniques and fabrication experience.
- Being certified in AWS is a plus.
- Must have at least one certification in GMAW or GTAW welding techniques.
- Strong aptitude in using measuring instruments- tape measures, micrometers and calipers.
- The ability to use a forklift and operate a crane is preferred.
