Job summary

TPAPT (The Association of Test Preparation, Admissions, and Private Tutoring) is seeking an experienced SAT/ACT Tutor Trainer to design and deliver trainer programs, mentor tutors, and raise instructional quality. You will run workshops, observe sessions, provide feedback, and help scale best practices across a national remote network.

A Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of tutor experience are required, with strong Zoom/Google Classroom facilitation skills.

TPAPT (The Association of Test Preparation, Admissions, and Private Tutoring) is hiring an SAT/ACT Tutor Trainer (Train the Trainer) to mentor, and elevate new and existing educators in modern test preparation methodologies.

Position Overview

• Position: SAT/ACT Tutor Trainer (Train the Trainer)
• Location: Remote, US Based / US EST alignment preferred)
• Job Classification: Contract (1099) / Part-Time

Design and deliver comprehensive training programs, workshops, and coaching sessions for aspiring and expereinced SAT and ACT tutors.

Methodology Mastery

Instruct educators on proprietary TPAPT test preparation strategies, content breakdowns, and diagnostic evaluation tactics.

Mentor & Coach

Observe mock tutoring sessions, provide constructive feedback, and track the professional growth of new cohort members.

Curriculum Support

Collaborate with academic leads to refine instructional guides based on current exam trends.

Quality Assurance

Ensure all trained tutors meet high standards for student score improvement and clear communication

Requirements

Education

Earned Bachelor's Degree required.

Experience

3 or more years of professional experience as an SAT or ACT (full test) tutor, with a documented track record of high student score improvements, and parent testimonials at the ready. Past experience as an SAT/ACT test prep tutor for a known brand preferred.

Training Background

Past experience delivering educator workshops, professional development, or peer coaching.

Communication

Exceptionally clear communicator with strong online presentation and virtual facilitation skills (Zoom/Google Classroom).
