Qualifications

• Candidates must have completed a bona fide apprenticeship, or have 8 years of previous experience, or a combination of experience and training equivalent to an apprenticeship.
• Extensive die maintenance on large body dies, including setup and tool changes.
• Ability to read process sheets and PM instructions; follow work orders precisely.
• Strong root-cause analysis to identify die downtime and implement resolutions.
• Experience with launching and try-out of large body dies is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and rebuild large body dies, retime pads and forms, and implement engineering changes.
• Set up and operate conventional or CNC machine tools (lathes, mills, grinders) to meet specs.
• Read process sheets and work orders; identify root causes of downtime and implement fixes.
• Lead or assist in launch and try-out of large body dies.
