Job summary

Audi Downtown Nashville, part of Sonic Automotive, seeks a Master Technician to perform vehicle repairs and maintenance to dealer and factory standards in a fast-paced shop.

You will diagnose with advanced equipment, service engines, transmissions, brakes, and other systems, document work, and collaborate with advisors to ensure quality, safety, and timely completion. Salary ranges from $150K to $200K yearly, based on performance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of mechanic or Automotive Service Technician experience.
• Must have own set of tools.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in using diagnostic equipment and tools.

Responsibilities

• Utilize diagnostic equipment to identify mechanical, electrical, and other vehicle issues.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, and other automotive systems.

$150K - $200K+ Annual Income based on performance

TheMaster Technician is responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards.

We are looking for an Audi Master Technician to join our team!

Duties and Responsibilities

• Utilize diagnostic equipment to identify mechanical, electrical, and other vehicle issues.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, and other automotive systems as outlined on repair orders.
• Work efficiently to diagnose malfunctions and complete repairs within established timeframes.
• Collaborate with service advisors, technicians, lead technician, foreman,and parts department to prioritize and schedule repairs.
• Conduct thorough quality inspections to ensure all repairs meet or exceed industry standards or verify if additional safety of service work is required.
• Address any issues or discrepancies promptly with Service Advisor, team lead, or foreman(parts, time promised, etc).
• Document all diagnostic and repair activities accurately.
• Complete repair orders and maintain detailed records of services performed.
• Attend factory-sponsored training classes to stay informed about the latest automotive technologies and industry trends.
• Attend training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

Preferred:

• MDT Certified.
• ASE Certifications.
• 4+ years of mechanic or Automotive Service Technicianexperience.
• Must have own set of tools.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in using diagnostic equipment and tools.
• Knowledge of automotive systems, components, and repair procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Required:

• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA.
• All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver license.

Compensation (Hourly: Flat-Rate)

• $150K - $200K+ Annual Income based on performance
• You are eligible for our tenure bonus after six months of employment, up to $3.50 per flat hour, Bonuses are paid out at end of year.
• Sonic offers a zero premium medical plan, after one year of service.

Schedule:

• FULL TIME
• Monday thru Saturday availability
• Sundays off
