Job summary

AutoNation in Savannah, GA seeks a Master Technician to perform repairs and maintenance per dealer and factory standards. You will communicate with Parts and Service Advisors, diagnose issues, and conduct thorough inspections to ensure vehicle safety and reliability.

The role requires 2+ years as an automotive technician, a high school diploma or equivalent, and ongoing training. You will help drive loyalty through exceptional service and contribute to a strong team culture.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years experience as an automotive technician.
• Automotive technical training (varies based on store needs).
• Attention to detail.
• Organization and follow-up skills.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and maintain an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and maintenance as outlined on the repair order in accordance with dealer and factory standards.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.
• Diagnose the cause of malfunctions and perform repairs as authorized by the customer.
• Conduct multi-point inspections and make recommendations to ensure safety and reliability.
• Document work performed on the repair order.
• Maintain inventory of tools not normally inventoried by Service (special tools).
• Keep up-to-date with factory bulletins and training classes as appropriate.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
